C+E had their wedding date and venue locked in even before they got engaged. How amazing is that? They knew exactly what they wanted and made sure no one else could swoop in and book before they had their chance - I totally get it! C reserved their date with me, and while I didn’t want to put any pressure on them, I couldn’t help but await the news of their engagement. When E did officially propose to C, our plans for their engagement session were officially set in motion!
The couple lives in Tacoma and has a few favorite spots they wanted to include for their photos. I love when couples incorporate places they’re familiar with - it makes it so much easier for them to feel comfortable in front of the camera. And, let’s be honest, a sip of beer always helps, too. ;-) We started downtown to capture some sweeping city views, worked our way up to 6th Ave, and finished off at Peaks and Pints in Proctor. The weather was a typical PNW gray and threatened rain, but we stuck to our schedule and ended up with a beautiful evening and even a stunning sunset! The view from our last stop is one of my absolute favorites in Tacoma.
I can’t wait to share their wedding day with you, but for now, enjoy their engagement session!
