Candace+Ethan had their wedding date and venue booked even before they got engaged. How amazing is that?? They knew what they wanted and made sure no one else was able to book before they could - I totally get it! Candace reserved their date with me and I didn't put the pressure on, but I was so excited and kept wondering "When are they getting engageeeeed?!" When Ethan did officially ask Candace, our plans for their engagement session were set in motion! They live in Tacoma and have a few favorite establishments we knew we wanted to visit for their photos. I love that they wanted to plan this way because places couples are familiar with make it that much easier for them to get comfortable in front of the camera... For some reason, it's especially easy when a little beer is involved. ;-) We planned to start downtown for some sweeping city views, work our way up to 6th Ave and then head over to Proctor to Peaks and Pints!! The weather was pretty PNW gray and threatened to rain, but we kept with our schedule and ended up with a beautiful night and a gorgeous sunset! Also, the view from where we ended is one of my favorites in Tacoma! Ahh, can't wait to share their wedding day with you guys, but for now, enjoy their engagement!
