When it comes to engagement sessions, there’s something truly special about a couple that radiates joy, laughter, and love - enter R and M. From the moment we met, it was clear that their connection was effortless, and I knew capturing their photos would be, too!
Their sunny engagement session at Discovery Park in Seattle was nothing short of a dream. Our time was filled with easy smiles and that perfect “spring-day” vibe—despite it being fall! We began down at the beach, with breathtaking views of Puget Sound and the waves at our feet. As they embraced and played on the shore, R+M's joyful vibe was so fun to document and their love came through naturally!
After the beach, we made our way in to the fields of the bluff as golden hour light started to work its magic. The sunshine and sky put on a show, and R’s burnt orange dress perfectly complemented the warm tones of the fall landscape. It couldn’t have been more beautiful if we’d planned it.
Then came blue hour - I just adore that quiet, dreamy time right after the sun sets. R and M shared some laughter in the soft light and it was the perfect way to end their session. As the sky shifted into dusky blues and purples, I captured a few final images with the moon overhead and smiles on their faces.
These two are tying the knot at the gorgeous Sleeping Lady Resort in Leavenworth, and after spending time with them, I know their wedding day is going to be full of the same joy and magic. I can’t wait to be there to document their next chapter.
